Concert in the Park Committee

Purpose

The Concert in the Park (CITP) Committee is responsible for all concert-related matters.

Leadership and Membership

The President may serve as committee chair or may appoint a committee chair or co-chairs, subject to approval by the full council. Committee members may be TCC Directors or members of the community. The chair or co-hairs are free to seek assistance as needed from within and outside TCC.

Roles and Responsibilities

The committee identifies and contracts with bands, sets the concert schedule with the Recreation Center staff, arranges for food vendors and face painters or other entertainment, and secures grant funding. The committee is also responsible for advertising the events, controlling event parking, and conducting clean-up of the premises after the concert.
