We have had a great turnout at the SANDAG Open Houses on April 23rd! Thank you if you participated.

We gave you short notice to advertise those open houses and we appreciate those who found the time to expand our outreach. We have a second ask with slightly longer lead time.

On behalf of SANDAG, I respectfully ask you to continue to assist us by participating in SANDAG’s ambitious outreach efforts they have underway for developing San Diego Forward: The 2019-2050 Regional Plan.

The 2019 Regional Plan will provide a big-picture vision for our region over the next 30 years with an implementation program to make that vision a reality. The Regional Plan is intended to represent all the different communities and constituencies that encompass our diverse region, which is why SANDAG needs to hear from your members.

Your Club and your members may have a different perspective than other participants. Issues in the City of San Diego—and in particular your community—are different than in other parts of the County. SANDAG needs to hear all perspectives to ensure they balance everyone’s transportation needs in crafting the regional plan.

An important and easy way to provide input is by taking SANDAG’s survey, which is available on-line through May 10th. Spreading the word about the survey will be a big help!
