MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif. --
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is scheduled to support Naval Air Station North Island during a temporary runway closure at NASNI Dec. 8-31.
During the runway closure aboard NASNI, fixed wing operations are scheduled to be suspended and helicopter operations are scheduled to continue as normal.
Residents in the vicinity of MCAS Miramar may hear and see more aircraft activity during the closure.
