The MCAS Miramar Fire Department will be conducting a series of prescribed burns near Aqueduct Road in East Miramar during daytime hours on June 4th and June 5th.

These prescribed burns are in support of the Station's annual vegetation management program to reduce wildfire risk.

Smoke will be visible from freeway corridors and to local communities during this time. As with all prescribed burns, Go/No Go will be dependent on weather conditions and this will be determined by late Friday afternoon.
